Additional casting has been announced for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club starring Academy Award and Tony Award winner Eddie Redmayne in his Olivier Award-winning performance as ‘The Emcee' and introducing Gayle Rankin as the toast of Mayfair ‘Sally Bowles.' For the third year in a row, Broadway's best stage managers unite for the Broadway Stage Management Symposium (BSMS), an immersive two-day program that offers practical insights, instruction and career advice for college students and young stage managers alike. 

This morning, the Supreme Court declared that legislation which says marriage must be between a man and a woman is unconstitutional, thus allowing homosexual couples to receive the same benefits as heterosexual couples. The Court also struck down California's Proposition 8. The decision comes after the Court held hearings about the legality of the state's gay marriage ban in March. The decision will now allow gay marriage to resume in California, however it does not legalize it in other states. The cast of Kinky Boots took the show's message to heart and celebrated today's news backstage. Check out their creation below!

Denis Jones (Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Broadway Bares) is directing and choreographing. Book and Lyrics is by Broadway and theatre veteran, Stephan de Ghelder. Music is by Brad Simmons, most recently musical director, Lysistrata Jones.

BROADWAY BARES XXI: MASTERPIECE, which is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, was held, June 19, with two performances only (9:30 PM and midnight) at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd Street). Directed by Mark Waldrop, with choreography by Vince Pesce, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum will run at Paper Mill Playhouse's Millburn theater from March 16 through April 10, 2011. Paul Vogt (Pseudolus) made his Broadway debut as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray and he replaced Harvey Fierstein in the Las Vegas production. Films include Garry Marshall's Valentines Day and Princess Diaries 2. Audiences know Paul from 'MADtv.' This is Paul's first Paper Mill Playhouse experience.
