The second annual ReelAbilities Film Festival: Los Angeles 2019 announced today its lineup of narrative and documentary features as well as short films. The festival runs October 25-27, 2019 at Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood. Tickets and passes will be available to purchase October 1. Adirondack Film Festival Announces Full Slate, Featuring James Franco's PRETENDERS

The 4th Annual Adirondack Film Festival, presented by the Adirondack Theatre Festival has announced its full slate of films and special guests. This year's lineup includes more than 135 films shown in one weekend (October 17-20) across 6 screens in Downtown Glens Falls. To open the festival, AFF will feature James Franco's PRETENDERS – shot entirely in Albany and the Capital Reigon.
Award-Winning Film SIDEWAYS to be Adapted into a Broadway Musical

Multiple award-winning Sideways author, Rex Pickett, has formed a joint venture with EFG-Renascence Productions to develop a Broadway musical based on his hit film, as well as utilize the intellectual property across multiple media platforms and brand extensions, it was jointly announced today by EFG-Renascence founder, Solomon J. LeFlore (Straight Outta Compton, Bringing It Home with Laura McIntosh on PBS), and his partner Susan Gee. Released in 2004, the Alexander Payne-directed Sideways garnered over 350 awards, including the Academy Award for 'Best Adapted Screenplay', two Golden Globes for 'Best Picture' and 'Best Screenplay', and a record six Independent Spirit Awards, and has grossed over $500 million worldwide.
