The Walt Disney Studios announced today that it will debut its new live-action feature film “Artemis Fowl” exclusively on Disney+. The release date will be announced soon.

The Walt Disney Studios announced today that 20th Century Studios' “The Call Of The Wild” and Searchlight Pictures' “Downhill” will be available to buy digitally and on Movies Anywhere beginning March 27 in the U.S.

According to Deadline, Disney+ has officially launched in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. It will launch in France on April 7.

The Walt Disney Studios announced today that Disney and Pixar's “Onward” will be available to buy digitally and on Movies Anywhere beginning today at 5:00PM PST/ 8:00PM EST and on Disney+ on April 3 in the U.S.

The announcement was made earlier today by Robert A. Iger, Executive Chairman, The Walt Disney Company, at Disney's annual meeting of shareholders.

In celebration of the in-home release of the No. 1 animated feature film of all time, Disney has partnered with Drybar for an unprecedented collaboration, offering an exciting lineup of nationwide fan festivities. The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists today announced winners of its 57th Annual ICG Publicists Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. JOKER (Warner Bros. Pictures) won the top honors for the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Motion Pictures Publicity Campaign, presented by Director Paul Feig (Ghostbusters). THE MANDALORIAN: Season 1 (Disney+) won the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Television Publicity Campaign, presented by actor Jason Lewis (Sex in the City). This year's luncheon, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, was chaired by Tim Menke and co-chaired by Sheryl Main. More than 800 industry leaders attended, including guild members, Hollywood public relations and marketing executives, producers, studio and network executives, celebrities and press.

Secret Cinema and The Walt Disney Studios today announced a multi-title agreement for Secret Cinema to bring its unique brand of immersive cinematic experiences to some of The Walt Disney Studios' most iconic films.  The first show will premiere in London, UK in 2020.

Disney+ has shared a first look at its exciting slate of original and exclusive content set to premiere in 2020.

The Disney+ original series, “Diary of a Future President,” from I Can and I Will Productions and CBS Television Studios, will premiere on Friday, January 17.  Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin,” “Someone Great”) and Emily Gipson (“Someone Great”) serve as executive producers on the 10-episode series, along with creator Ilana Peña (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”), on whose childhood the show was inspired, showrunner Robin Shorr (“The Carmichael Show”) and Brad Silberling (“Jane the Virgin”). 

The Cinema Society hosted a special screening tonight of Disney+'s “Togo”—the untold true story that takes you across the treacherous terrain of the Alaskan tundra for an exhilarating and uplifting adventure that tests the strength, courage and determination of one man and his lead sled dog, Togo. Attending the screening were Willem Dafoe, who portrays Leonhard Seppala in the film, and Julianne Nicholson, who plays Seppala's wife Constance. Also in attendance were director Ericson Core, producer Kim Zubick and writer Tom Flynn, as well as celebrity guests. “Togo” premieres on Dec. 20, 2019, streaming only on Disney+.

As Walt Disney Animation Studios' “Frozen 2” approaches its opening this Friday, Nov. 22, Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel—the actresses who help bring Anna and Elsa to life in the movie—were honored today with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their stars—the 2681st and 2682nd, in the category of motion pictures and live theatre/performance, respectively—are located in front of Hollywood's historic Pantages Theatre at 6225 Hollywood Boulevard near the famous corner of Hollywood and Vine.

With Disney+ launching today in the U.S. and Canada, this morning the streaming service debuted a special look at  “The Mandalorian” on “Good Morning America.” And check out another special look that was unveiled last night during ESPN's “Monday Night Football.”
