The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is proud to announce Hana S. Sharif as its new artistic director. Currently the associate artistic director at Baltimore Center Stage, Sharif will take over as The Rep's next artistic leader following Steven Woolf's retirement at the end of the 2018-2019 season. Sharif will hold the title of Augustin Family Artistic Director.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) has announced two of the three shows for its 2018-2019 Studio Theatre season: Admissions(October 24 - November 11, 2018), the 2018 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Play, and the world premiere of Nonsense and Beauty (March 6 - 24, 2019).

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces an extension of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. The Arts and Education Council (A&E) announced today 20 arts organizations to receive 2018-2019 Operating Support Grants. The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis announced today that it has received a $20,000 grant from the PNC Foundation through the PNC Arts Alive initiative, to support its semi-annual exhibition of the very best in local theatre.

For the final production of its 40th Anniversary Season, Stages Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of Mickey Fisher's Replica, running May 23 - June 10, 2018. Replica is the fourth world premiere Stages has produced this season (in addition to Balls, A Midnight Clear: A Musical Tale of Christmas and Purple Eyes). A television writer and producer as well as a playwright, Fisher is best known as the creator of the television series Extant (CBS, starring Halle Berry), Mars (National Geographic) and the upcoming Reverie (NBC), which premieres May 30.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' recently concluded 2017-2018 season generated more than $1 million in single ticket revenue. The nonprofit theatre's six Mainstage and three Studio productions sold a combined $1.14 million in single tickets, which is in addition to revenue from Mainstage and Studio subscribers. Total ticket revenue for The Rep's 2017-2018 season exceeded $4.7 million.
