Paper Mill Announces 2019 Rising Star Award Winners, Madison High School Takes Top Prize

Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Michael Stotts-Managing Director) has a well-earned reputation for launching both performers and shows to Broadway. Since their inception in 1996, the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey. 

Celebrate World Pride With TRANS VOICES CABARET

New York City's premier cabaret highlighting the talents of transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming performers returns to The Duplex to celebrate World Pride on Saturday, June 22nd at 9:30pm. The show is directed by Donnie Cianciotto, with Musical Direction by Anessa Marie and. Cianciotto will also serve as the emcee of the evening.

Corkscrew Theater Festival Announces Casting & Ticket Sales For Expanded Third Season

Corkscrew Theater Festival is pleased to announce the mainstage casts for its third annual festival, which runs July 10-August 3 at the Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street, Manhattan). The festival features four world premieres, four workshop productions, and four readings performed in repertory over four weeks, with 80 performances in all. As in past years, special attention has been given to theater makers who are developing work through tight-knit collaborations. Tickets are now on sale.

Uptown Players presents Regional Premiere of THE VIEW UPSTAIRS

Uptown Players continues its 2018-2019 season with the regional premiere of The View Upstairs, by Max Vernon, running June 21 - July 7, 2019. The all-star cast assembled for this 2017 off-broadway hit includes the return to the Kalita Humphreys Theater of Blake McIver and New York Cabaret Singer, William Blake.

HAMILTON Releases New Block of Tickets Through June 7, 2020

A new block of tickets for the Broadway production of Hamilton will be made available on Tuesday June 11 at 10:00 AM ET exclusively through Ticketmaster Verified Fan. Verified Fan is an innovative new technology from Ticketmaster that combats bots and scalpers, helping shows like HAMILTON level the playing field so fans get better access to real tickets.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) announced today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public on Saturday, June 8 at 8 AM at ppacri.org and in person at the PPAC Box Office (220 Weybosset Street). Tickets will be available for performances July 23 - August 11, 2019. In Providence, HAMILTON will be the spectacular season finale of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series for the 2018/2019 Season. 10th Anniversary Special Engagement Of Storm Large's CRAZY ENOUGH Announced

The heavily anticipated 10th anniversary special engagement of Storm Large's autobiographical, one-woman rock musical Crazy Enough opens June 25 on the U.S. Bank Main Stage. Crazy Enough broke records at The Armory in 2009 with a sold-out, 21-week run. Beginning with stories of a childhood complicated by her mother's schizophrenia, Large takes us through the ups and downs of the years that follow - sex, drugs, running away to California, and the saving grace of rock 'n' roll.  Crazy Enough features original songs by Large and James Beaton, including the hilarious and incredibly catchy "My Vagina is Eight Miles Wide." Original music director Beaton returns to the production. Crazy Enough will open on Large's 50th birthday.

Directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, the war-torn tragedy seen for the first time in 40 years, begins performances on Tuesday, July 16 and runs through Sunday, August 11, with an official press opening on Monday, August 5.
