The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced the third extension of the revival of FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE/WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF, written by legendary playwright/poet Ntozake Shange. Directed by Obie Award winner Leah C. Gardiner with choreography by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown, FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE/WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF began performances on Tuesday, October 8 in The Public's Martinson Hall and officially opened on Tuesday, October 22. In its third extension, FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE/WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, November 17, and will now run through Sunday, December 8.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions today announces three new premieres to open at the Ustinov Studio including Hansol Jung's Wild Goose Dreams which premieres next month (21 November to 21 December) with opening night for press on 27 November, Will Eno's Drama Desk Award winning play The Realistic Joneses (6 February to 7 March), followed by the latest drama from emerging playwright Kate Attwell, Testmatch (2 April to 9 May 2020), in a co-production with English Touring Theatre.

The Public Theater presents THE MICHAELS, written and directed by Tony Award winner Richard Nelson. THE MICHAELS is currently running in The Public's LuEsther Hall and has been extended one week to run through Sunday, November 24. It officially opens on Sunday, October 27.

The Joyce Theater Foundation (Linda Shelton, Executive Director) brings together three tap superstars and a special guest for a celebration of tap dance in And Still You Must Swing. Honoring the heart and legacy of the art form, the dynamic evening of dance featuring Dormeshia, Derick K. Grant, Jason Samuels Smith, and Camille A. Brown will play The Joyce Theater from December 3-8. Nancy Manocherian's the cell presents Sister Sylvester's DOLL DNA - a genetically modified performance event just in time for Halloween. The Public Theater announced today an additional one-week extension of the New York premiere of SOFT POWER, with play and lyrics by Tony Award winner David Henry Hwang and music and additional lyrics by Tony Award winner Jeanine Tesori, with choreography by Tony nominee Sam Pinkleton.

Working Theater will transfer new play, BORDER PEOPLE, currently playing at The Marsh San Francisco to Off Broadway A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 W 53rd Street) as part of the company's 35th anniversary season, where it is scheduled to begin previews January 25, prior to its official opening on January 30.

The cast album for the critically acclaimed Broadway production of David Byrne's American Utopia, has been released today, with music and lyrics by David Byrne. It is available now via the Nonesuch Store, iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital service providers. The two-CD version will be released on November 22 and is available to pre-order in the Nonesuch Store; a vinyl edition will be available this winter. The cast recording track list is below.
