Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to announce its OTR New Works lineup for 2020. We will be presenting two staged readings from past and president Resident Playwrights, as well as a LAB Workshop production, and our first commissioned play, which is being written by our first Resident Playwright, Adam Szymkowicz. All performances will take place at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center. 

No.11 Productions is pleased to announce they will be transferring their annual holiday party retelling of Dickens' classic story to Brooklyn's acclaimed Irondale Center. The one-night-only performance is set for Monday, December 16th, 2019 at 7:30pm and will feature an afterparty concert by the Nat Osborn Band.

Literary cabaret House of Speakeasy is back at Joe's Pub with Nina Burleigh, James Geary, Maggie Paxson & Monique Truong, while This Alien Nation, a celebration of immigrant stories, returns with Julio Torres, Mohammad Ewaz, Seuketu Mehta and Fariha Róisín.

The innovative educational program that debuted at HAMILTON on Broadway will continue in Philadelphia on Thursday, November 7 when over 1,700 students and teachers from 39 high schools attend the matinee performance of the musical at the Forrest Theatre.

Sundance Institute's Theatre Program will support three ambitious new works for the stage, and their four women creators, at this year's two-week Theatre Lab at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). The Lab, which runs from November 10 to November 24th, will feature the concentrated and abundant time and resources, including individual casting from a dedicated acting company and daily rehearsals, that has long been a signature of Sundance's Labs.

DANCE NOW is pleased to present its 2020 Dance-mopolitan Encore Series, featuring ten top-tier artists featured in the 2019 DANCE NOW Festival Encore, selected by the DANCE NOW producers for having most successfully met the 2019 DANCE NOW Festival Challenge: to create a clear and complete artistic statement in five minutes or less for the specifics of the stage at Joe's Pub.

Complete casting has been announced today for the Broadway production of the hit musical Girl from the North Country. Austin Scott, star of FX's a?oePosea?? and Hamilton, will join the company in the role of Joe Scott. Also announced are new ensemble members Jennifer Blood, Law Terrell Dunford, and Chiara Trentalange.

KEVIN SMITH KIRKWOOD - who most recently appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, and as a featured performer in the 2019 WORLD PRIDE PARADE on the PROCTOR & GAMBLE float, returns to JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATER with CLASSIC WHITNEY: THE HOLIDAY LOVE SHOW! on November 29th at 9:30PM.

Transport Group presents its world premiere musical Broadbend, Arkansas, starring Justin Cunningham ('When They See Us') and Danyel Fulton. Broadbend, Arkansas, presented in association with The Public Theater, with libretto by Ellen Fitzhugh and Harrison David Rivers, and music and additional lyrics by Ted Shen, directed by OBIE-winning artistic director Jack Cummings III, opens on Sunday, November 10 at The Duke on 42nd Street in New 42nd Street Studios, 229 West 42nd Street. 

Dael Orlandersmith celebrates her 60th birthday with a special benefit evening at the Wild Project. The event takes place on Saturday, November 23 at 7 pm at Wild Project (195 E. 3rd Street, between Avenues A & B). Following the success of their multi award-winning and internationally touring show, Backstage in Biscuit Land, U.K. based company, Touretteshero, in a co-production with Battersea Arts Centre, is presenting a neurodiverse production of Not I by Samuel Beckett at The Public Theater's Under The Radar Festival, New York City, performing from January 10-13 and 16-19 at BRIC House in Brooklyn.

Of the many common features shared by the eight (thus far) plays that make up playwright/director Richard Nelson's 'Rhinebeck Panorama' series, perhaps the most unusual is that they all take place on the date of their opening night at the Public Theater.

Quick Silver Theater Company (QSTC) will present a staged reading of Lisa Strum's She Gon' Learn.

NANCY REDMAN RETURNS - AGAIN - TO THE UNITED SOLO FESTIVAL as The Best Of The Festival's First Decade with a repeat performance of 'AT WIT'S END: A HOME FOR RETIRED COMICS'.

Producer Jeffery Seller and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public Saturday, November 23 at 9:00 AM ET.  Tickets will be available at kravis.org and in person at the Kravis Center Box Office (701 Okeechobee Boulevard).  Tickets will be available for performances January 28 - February 16, 2020.
