Chelsea Table + Stage in association with FRIGID New York, Weigand-Klein, Fidelity Theatricals, and Painted Pistachio will present an Off-Broadway transfer of the downtown hit, Falling Out: A New Musical at Chelsea Table + Stage inside the Hilton Fashion District Hotel (152 W 26th St, New York, NY 10001) on Saturday and Sunday nights, May 9-31.

Following an acclaimed run downtown, FALLING OUT makes its anticipated Off-Broadway transfer!

In a downtown New York music bar, ballads of lost loves and missed opportunities float on the air. Worlds collide when a melancholic transplant meets a musician with a past. Together they create a discordant harmony that will uncover the truths they both need to reshape their lives.

The creative team includes Book, Music & Lyrics by Josée Weigand-Klein, Additional Materials by Meg Ledford, Musical Direction by Calvin Hitchcock, Lighting Design by Zach Pizza, and Sound Design by Emerson Wachnik. The production is directed by Anthony Logan Cole with General Management by 3C Theatrical. Arrangements by Calvin Hitchcock and Josee Klein with Gideon Klein.

Josée Weigand-Klein (Book, Lyrics & Music) is a female songwriter, composer, and performing violinist who primarily works and lives in Nashville, TN. Josée considers herself an avid theatre-goer and lover of musicals and all things Broadway. Falling Out is her first full-length original musical and she is thrilled that this show will have its premiere in New York City. Klein's songwriting weaves flares of pop, Broadway, and folk together and has been compared to the likes of Pasek and Paul, Jason Robert Brown, and Drew Gasparini. In 2025 she had the pleasure of originating the violin/fiddle/concertmaster position for Dolly Parton's new musical, Dolly, which premiered in Nashville, Tennessee and is heading to Broadway in 2026. As a violinist, Josée has toured with, recorded with, or performed with artists Smokey Robinson (Ryman Auditorium), John Legend, Jessie Mueller, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Keith Urban, Daniel Caesar, Disney, Tom Douglas, Steven Curtis Chapman, Cece Winans, Michael W. Smith, For KING + COUNTRY, Pink Sweats, Cody Fry, Alexander Kay, Maren Morris, Delta Rae, Kelsei Ballerini, Margo Price, Hunter Hayes, Radio Company, Paul Cardall, Fernando Ortega, Amanda Shires, and more. As a composer/writer, Josée has studied under composer Steven Lutvak and writer Jessie Fahay.

Anthony Logan Cole (Director) specializes in creating immersive experiences in both theatre and circus and is honored to be bringing this incredible new work to NYC. As a theatrical director he has worked on the acclaimed immersive productions ROCK OF AGES (Old Library Theatre), JAWS-THE MUSICAL (NYC Fringe), THE HIDDEN ONES (Off-Broadway), SHE LOVES ME, CIRQUE DE LANCEY (Off-Broadway), THE CRAVEN (London), INTESTINAL PULCHRITUDE (Indianapolis Fringe), and CURIOSITIES (Off-Broadway). He served as Associate Director on ROCK OF AGES, LES MISERABLES, Immersive Director on THE UNINVITED: AWAKENING (Off-Broadway), and Resident Director at The Rose Room in NYC and London. He has created shows for venues like Etiquette Nightclub at Sony Hall, Hustler Club, Camden Assembly, Primal Fusion at Sapphire 39, The Delancey, The Duplex, and 54 Below. He is currently the Co-Creator and Theatrical Director of CIRQUE LE SWING with the world-renowned ABCirque.
