A first-ever video of the title song from the new musical Swept Away, featuring Grammy Award nominated folk rock band The Avett Brothers ('America's biggest roots band,' Rolling Stone), in their theater debut, has just been released.

The lead single and title track 'Weatherman' is out now and finds the duo reuniting with Grammy Award-winning producer Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Leon Bridges).

This past Saturday evening, June 5, Bay Area arts supporters gathered for a live stream event to celebrate Berkeley Repertory Theatre's plan to reopen this fall and to honor the 20th anniversary of its School of Theatre. For the EP, Crain drew inspiration from her Norman, OK neighborhood through the idea of “vacationing in your own backyard,” explaining how the pandemic found her re-discovering the beauty of her hometown.
