The Lewisville Grand Theater has announced that the Hot Club of Cowtown will kick off the 2022 Texas Tunes concert series with a performance in the Huffines Performance Hall on Saturday, February 12 at 8 p.m. 

The Avett Brothers musical Swept Away, written by Tony Award®-winning stage and screen writer John Logan and helmed by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, just opened at Berkeley Rep. The engagement was recently extended for a second time and will now play through Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Dead man tell no tales, so three apparitions appear to their surviving shipwreck mate beseeching him to tell their stories in John Logan's brilliant World Premiere musical based on the stirring music of award winning Avett Brothers. That story, involving a tragic shipwreck, is a mesmerizing tale of unbearable life-changing choices, cathartic soul searching and bro bonding.

Tonight, the new musical from The Avett Brothers, Swept Away, begins performances at Berkeley Rep. Written by Tony Award-winning stage and screen writer John Logan, Swept Away is helmed by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, and features choreography by Tony Award nominee David Neumann.

On the first day of rehearsals and following an overwhelmingly demand from audiences, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical Swept Away will extend for an additional second and final week. The new musical will now run through Sunday, March 6.
