The Broad Stage announces an expanded number of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performances for the 2019-2020 season in an effort to create an inclusive environment for all audience members and ensure that as many people as possible are able to experience the magic of live performance. The first ASL interpreted performance will be The Moth Mainstage in Los Angeles on October 4.

Live Arts at the Morris Museum, a bold new performance series, introduces cultural climate change to Morris County's Morris Museum in historic Morristown, New Jersey. Innovative artists from around the world and around the area will dominate the season with world and regional premieres of the most interesting new work being created in music, dance and theater. To introduce Live Arts at the Morris Museum there will be a Launch Party on Thursday, June 6th at 7:30 pm at The Bickford Theatre featuring a performance by Kyle Marshall Choreography, the dynamic young dance company who will preview their new work, Horizon which will be part of the new season. With a chair, table, and bar of lights, visionary theatre maker Thaddeus Phillips magically conjures a rusty Croatian ferry, perilous international flights, obscure Amazonian ports, the twin cities of El Paso and Juarez, deportations, strip searches, illegal crossings, arbitrary passports and curious customs. Based on Phillips' actual adventures, 17 Border Crossings is a harrowing, comical, visually surreal and engrossing look at the imaginary lines that divide up the world and the very real barriers they create. 17 Border Crossings makes its Off-Broadway premiere at New York Theatre Workshop after sold out runs on four continents. The show is directed by Phillips' wife, Tatiana Mallarino (¡El Conquistador!).

Theatre director and performer, Thaddeus Phillips returns to Buntport Theater with 'INFLATABLE SPACE' a theatrical spectacle about the Golden Record, launched on The Voyager Spacecraft in 1977. Making use of colossal inflatable set pieces that magically emerge and recede into the darkness of space, INFLATABLE SPACE morphs between the 1970s, when NASA scientists prepared this record, the launch of Voyager 1 and 875,000 years later, in interstellar space, as it is intercepted, and it's discoverers accept Humanity's invitation to come and visit the earth.
