Broadway's TINA - THE Tina Turner MUSICAL will open in Madrid, Spain in 2020! A casting notice for the production notes they are currently seeking singers, actors, and dancers for the entire principal cast for the production!

Lyrics & Lyricists opens its new season with a salute to Yip Harburg, who appeared on the 92nd Street Y stage for L&L's first show in December 1970. Harburg was a master lyricist, poet, and book writer who worked with more than 40 composers in writing over 600 songs, including such classics as 'April in Paris,' 'Old Devil Moon,' 'Lydia, the Tattooed Lady,' 'Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?,' 'Paper Moon,' and, of course, 'Over the Rainbow.' Mikaela Bennett, Clifton Duncan, Desi Oakley, Megan Sikora and Nick Spangler bring Harburg's story to life-from his Lower East Side childhood to being blacklisted by HUAC. Matt Kunkel's direction, with musical direction by Paul Masse and a script by Jon Marans, weaves together Harburg's comedic and political sides.

Grand Horizons will play a strictly limited 10-week engagement, beginning previews December 20, 2019 at The Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street), and officially opening on January 23, 2020.

The critically acclaimed production, which opened on Monday, December 9th will now play through Sunday, January 5th, 2020 Off-Broadway at Atlantic's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

Last night, the world premiere production of Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven by Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis (Between Riverside and Crazy), directed by Obie Award winner John Ortiz, and co-produced by Atlantic Theater Company and LAByrinth Theater Company, opened Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

The New Group announces full casting for Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, with Jennifer Damiano, Ana Nogueira, Joél Pérez and Michael Zegen joining, as previously announced, Duncan Sheik, in this world premiere production. Arriving as part of The New Group's 25th Anniversary Season, this production features Book by Jonathan Marc Sherman, Music and Lyrics by Duncan Sheik, Additional Lyrics by Amanda Green and Choreography by Kelly Devine. TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL's gross for the week was $1,834,339.00, the highest for any eight-show week at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Prior to TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, MOTOWN held the house record ($1,708,597.00) set in 2013.

BEETLEJUICE, presented by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman) and Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick), announced Beetlejuice broke the Winter Garden Box Office Record for an 8 performance week with a gross of $1,589,838.90, the week ending December 1, 2019. The previous record was held by SCHOOL OF ROCK with a gross of $1,506,236.20, for the week ending December 27, 2015.

Jeffery Seller and Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public Monday, December 2 at 10:00 AM ET. Tickets will be available at www.foxtheatre.org and in person at the Fox Theatre Ticket Office (660 Peachtree Street NE). Tickets will be available for performances March 31, 2020 - May 3, 2020.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Broadway Indianapolis announce a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show's first performance (December 10) in Indianapolis at the Murat Theatre/Old National Centre. Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each. The digital lottery will open at 11:00 AM on December 8 for tickets to the Tuesday, December 10 performance. Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance.
