Trinity Rep announces the on-sale dates for its 2019-20 Season, including the date for the highly anticipated productions of The Prince of Providence and A Christmas Carol, both of which are expected to sell out.

At the June 17 Annual Meeting, Trinity Repertory Company's Board of Trustees elected seven new trustees to three-year terms: Judhajit De, Sergio M. Gonzalez, Sean Holley, James Hurley, Lawrence J. La Sala, Sara Shea McConnell, and Julia Ann Slom. Reelected for another term were: Jonathan Duffy, Brian McGuirk, Kibbe Reilly, Kathryn Sabatini, and Arthur Solomon.

The executive committee of Trinity Rep's Board of Trustees, under the leadership of Board Chair Suzanne Magaziner, announces the renewal and extension of Executive Director Tom Parrish's contract through the 2022-23 Season.

Starz COO Jeffrey Hirsch announced today that the STARZ Original series 'Vida' from Executive Producer and showrunner Tanya Saracho ('How to Get Away With Murder,' 'Looking,' 'Girls') has been picked up for a third season.

Trinity Rep's eighth annual playwriting competition for New England high school students, Write Here! Write Now!, announces this year's winning playwrights: Jillian Aronnalt (East Providence High School in East Providence, RI), Cori Diaz (Rockville High School in Vernon, CT), Amanda Fawell (Framingham High School in Framingham, MA), and Sam Weiler (Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich, RI). Each student will have their ten-minute play performed by professional actors at a staged reading at Trinity Rep on May 21, 2019, at 7:00 pm, a free event which is open to the public.

Trinity Rep will conclude its dynamic 2018-19 Season with the primal and poetic Marisol by Obie award-winning playwright Jos Rivera. This production focuses on the sensational search for hope among the ruins.

AMC Networks announced today the premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including second seasons of AMC's mystic modern-day fable Lodge 49 and horror-infused anthology The Terror: Infamy, IFC's new musical variety sketch comedy Sherman's Showcase and SundanceTV's Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter, quirky comedy Rosehaven Season 3 and the new true crime thriller No One Saw A Thing.

The "I Have A Dream" Foundation - Los Angeles (IHADLA) is holding their 6th Annual Dreamer Dinner on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at The Skirball Cultural Center. This event honors those who inspire hopes and dreams for Los Angeles underserved youth and their families, showcasing the work being done by IHADLA to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through education, empowerment and opportunity.
