In their first live ceremony since lockdown, the Manhattan Associate of Cabarets presented their annual awards to the members of the MAC organization.

The operatic cabaret singer has a new CD in the works... and a new love.

Following up his critically-acclaimed Birdland debut this past November, BroadwayWorld Award-winner Robbie Rozelle returned to the scene of the crime with “The Inevitable Return” on Monday, April 4. 

KMEntertainment is elated to announce Tina Scariano will be performing her acclaimed concert, Feels Like Home presented by FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club on April 14, 2022 at 9:30pm!

Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch know how to throw a party. They’ve done it at Birdland every Monday for eighteen years, thanks to their uber-successful Cast Party, an open mic/variety show extravaganza.  But this past week, the musical duo had something extra to celebrate…the release of their latest cd on the Club44 Record label, “The Sunday Set.”

After a series of successful shows Tina Scariano will bring Ronstadt, Nicks, Simon, and Mitchell to Broadway's Living Room.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross – widely heralded as “The Crown Prince of New York Cabaret” – in a special show celebrating spring on Monday, April 18 at 7:00 PM.

Three cast members from Come From Away will improvise an entire musical in real time with the SHITZPROBE team on March 28th.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Tony Award-winner Debbie Gravitte in a special residency “Debbie Plus One” starting Monday, April 11 at 7:00 PM. Gravitte has been in theater long enough to have made some very special friends, and she welcomes Stephen Schwartz (April 11), Marc Shaiman (May 9), and Harvey Fierstein (September 12).

The Duplex presents Zoë Van Tieghem's debut of her new Cabaret, “Love and Stuff.” Van Tieghem will croon a curated playlist of cabaret standards, classic rock, and musical theatre. Lesbian femme fatale Van Tieghem will take you on a darkly comedic journey of love with a mix of cabaret standards and rock classics by artists such as Billy Joel that, “Only a lesbian would sing.” 

Anyone who lives in New York City, or visits (people from South London and Scotland were in the house) knows that the hottest spot on a Tuesday night is Susie Mosher’s “The LINEUP” at the Birdland Theater, downstairs of the legendary Birdland Jazz Club. I must also share with you that the staff are wonderful, as are the cocktails, service and food menu.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Karen Mason in her show “Kander & Ebb…And All That Jazz” on Monday, March 28 at 7:00 PM. The evening honors John Kander and Fred Ebb, the Tony Award-winning songwriters behind Broadway’s Cabaret, Chicago and more.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets has announced the 2022 MAC Award nominees. The nominees were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership, except for the song and recording categories, which were determined by special committees.
