Choral Artists of Sarasota has announced the appointment of Danielle La Senna as its new executive director.

Choral Artists presents two dramatic choral works that reflect the upheaval of their times, including the Florida premiere of 'Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight' on March 10. Learn more here!

Choral Artists of Sarasota’s 45th season will continue with “A Christmas Celebration!” featuring an evening of holiday harmonies and festive favorites, including African American spirituals.

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County recently granted $15,000, from the Martha Leiter and Nancy Streetman Fund II, to Choral Artists of Sarasota to help fund its March 2023 concert of “The Children's March,” a dramatic work that uses song and narration to tell the story of a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights era.

Choral Artists of Sarasota's 44th season, entitled “United in Song,” continues with “Peace on Earth,” Sunday, December 11, 7 p.m., at Church of the Redeemer, 222 S. Palm Avenue, Sarasota.

 Seattle Center Festál continues with Irish Festival Seattle, presented as an in-person celebration by the Irish Heritage Club, on March 12th and 13th following last year’s virtual event. The free public festival takes place at the Seattle Center Armory and will include vendors with craft goods, an art exhibition, children’s activities and traditional Irish food and dance.

Choral Artists of Sarasota's 43rd season, “Carried Away,” continues with “She Is The Music,” Sunday, March 20, 2:30 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 2050 Oak Street, Sarasota.

The Choral Artists of Sarasota named its apprentice scholarship in honor of Dr. Ann Stephenson-Moe. The announcement was made on Saturday, January 22, at a reception hosted by Gretchen Rimmer. The reception was a fundraiser in support of Choral Artists’ education and outreach programs and the apprentice scholarship. The presentation celebrated Stephenson-Moe for her achievements and featured a performance by the New York-based Gilbert & Sullivan Players.

Choral Artists of Sarasota's 43rd season, 'Carried Away,' opens with Leonard Bernstein's celebrated musical, 'On The Town,' Sunday, November 7, 7 p.m., at Riverview Performing Arts Center, 1 Ram Way, Sarasota. Narrator Kate Alexander joins the Choral Artists singers and soloists Jenny Kim-Godfrey, Michaela Ristaino, McKenzie Pollock, Mark Lubas, Luis González and John Whittlesey in a concert version of this iconic musical.

Choral Artists of Sarasota’s 43rd season, entitled “Carried Away!” features six concerts in November, December, February, March, April, and July. “Carried Away!” is designed to transport audiences through the powerful medium of choral music, created in response to the return of live and in-person musical experiences in Sarasota.

Choral Artists of Sarasota’s 42nd season, entitled “Rise Up!” continues with “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” which features” uplifting songs from Broadway musicals. Through adversity, many characters of the Broadway musical “rise up” and successfully confront life challenges, inspiring and ennobling us by their courage.

Gloria Musicae launches its 38th season with more of the innovative, cutting-edge programming that has become the organization's hallmark under the artistic direction of Dr. Joseph Holt. It also has a brand-new name-the Choral Artists of Sarasota.

The Artistic Home at 3914 North Clark Street 2008/2009 season consists of three mainstage productions: Look Homeward Angel by Ketti Frings, Modigliani by Dennis McIntyre, and The Latent Heterosexual by Paddy Chayefsky. The Artistic Home Acting Studio will also produce two productions: The Fox by Alan Miller and another production to be announced.
