The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 airline passengers unexpectedly stranded in the small town of Gander on the island of Newfoundland, Canada, when 38 planes from around the globe were rerouted to its airport during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The planes also contained several animals, one of which was a bonobo (an endangered great ape) named Unga who was traveling from Belgium to her new home at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

The Tony and Olivier award-winning Come From Away is coming to the Van Wezel from Tuesday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021. Tickets are on sale now.

COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its West Palm Beach debut at Kravis Center for a limited engagement November 16 - 21. COME FROM AWAY will go on sale October 2 at 10 am.

A one-night concert version of the Tony-nominated musical Come From Away was performed last Friday on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, September 10, 2021. This free, 100-minute concert was held in honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. 

The Prince Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announced that Osh Ghanimah has received The Prince Fellowship and Lawryn LaCroix has received the Prince/TTLP Fellowship, formerly known as The T. One Night Only presents Come From Away is the fourth event in the virtual series, which reunites cast and creatives from hit musicals. On Saturday 19th December at 7:30pm (GMT) SimG Productions and Musical Theatre Radio's fourth 'One Night Only' Reunion event will reunite the writers and creatives from the International hit musical 'Come From Away', alongside actors who have appeared in productions across the globe.   

J.L. “Lynn” Singleton, President and CEO of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), announced today via a brief PPAC video that due to the national touring industry's decision to reset national tours and schedules this winter through the late fall of 2021,  PPAC will not be presenting national Broadway tours or any Broadway shows from this January through June 2021 as previously announced.
