Tony Award-winning producer, Stewart F. Lane (Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Cage aux Folles) and co-owner of The Palace Theatre, introduces his new book 'Let's Put on a Show!' an engaging and entertaining reference guide for theatrical producing novices.

On Thursday, June 7th at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center, 2007 Tony Award-nominee, and three-time Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer Stewart Lane, joined by Tony-winner Leslie Uggams, Tony-nominee Dee Hoty and acclaimed vocalist Julie Budd, took part in a performance, discussion and signing.

In the week leading up to the Tony Awards, Barnes & Noble's popular 'Live at Lincoln' series that has brought Broadway casts of Company, Grey Gardens, and many others up close and personal with their audiences--will present three Tony-filled musical events.

Acclaimed solo show Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! will embark on a national tour this fall.

Stewart F. Lane, a three-time Tony Award-winning producer (Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Will Rogers Follies, La Cage Aux Folles) and co-owner and operator of New York City's Palace Theater, has just written a new book, Let's Put On a Show! Lane, who also wrote Off Broadway shows In The Wings and If It Was Easy, draws on personal experience in his new book, which serves as a show-creating guide from inception to its final curtain.
