The Two and Only, Closing on Bway, to Play National Tour
The producers of Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! have announced that the critically acclaimed Broadway show will begin a national tour in Spring 2007 at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas (Johnson's hometown). The Dallas engagement will be under the auspices of Dallas Summer Musicals; Michael Jenkins, director.
The Two and Only! is currently in its final performances on Broadway. Depending on ticket demand, the show will close after the matinee on Sunday, November 26 or Sunday, December 3.
Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! opened on Broadway to acclaim on September 28, and has been praised as one of the most unique attractions on Broadway in many a season.
