Ahead of rehearsals commencing next month, Tim Lawson in association with Michael Harrison and The Really Useful Group have announced the adult ensemble cast for the Melbourne and Sydney seasons of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced the nominees for the 20th anniversary of The 5th Avenue Theatre Awards: Honoring High School Musicals, the highly anticipated award show sponsored by Wells Fargo, streaming LIVE online at 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2022.

In a role approved by The Who’s Pete Townshend himself, Victorian Opera welcomes back rising star Mat Verevis (A Little Night Music, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Nine Network’s The Voice) as Narrator / Tommy.

The acclaimed event, directed this year by Kat Ramsburg, handed out awards in 21 categories ranging from Outstanding Overall Musical Production to Outstanding Lobby Display.

The winner of the 2018 Rob Guest Endowment Award was announced tonight at the conclusion of the Grand Final Event held at Sydney's Capitol Theatre. Competing against five other outstanding Semi-Finalists, Annie Aitken (Melba, Muriel's Wedding) took out the prestigious award after being chosen by an expert panel of judges, which comprised Kellie Dickerson, Jason Langley, Sharon Millerchip and Guy Simpson.

Final tickets for the acclaimed Melbourne season of The Wizard of Oz will go on sale on Friday 25 May at 4pm from ticketmaster.com.au. Two additional matinees have been added to the schedule in the July school holidays, on Thursday 5 and 12 July, due to huge demand. The Wizard of Oz plays in Melbourne until 29 July.
