Canadian punks, We Were Sharks, are excited to announce that they have with Revival Recordings!

San Francisco North Bay theater artists gathered Monday night at 3 Disciples Brewing in downtown Santa Rosa for the Fourth Annual Marquee Theater Journalists Association Awards. Eighteen awards were given to local theatre artists and productions whose nominations were culled from the sixty-eight Sonoma County productions attended by members from September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019.

Stage West announces the theatre's main stage space is being renamed the Jerry Russell Theatre, in honor of the organization's beloved founder and long-time leader, Jerry Russell.

Childsplay brings the hilarious comedy CHATO'S KITCHEN to The Herberger Theater Center, Nov 1-Nov 24 to delight families. When a family of ratoncitos, or little mice, moves in next door, Chato invites them over for dinner. What they don't know is that they are on the menu! But things don't go quite as planned for Chato. The mice bring a surprise guest of their own who may be more than this cool cat can swallow. 

Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater presents a fully staged production of Wrinkles, the Musical. With book and lyrics by Wilderness Sarchild and Naomi Turner, Wrinkles, the Musical is directed by Dani Davis and runs October 18-27, with performances at 7:30 p.m.

Playwrights Guild of Canada (PGC) announces the short lists for its 2019 Tom Hendry Awards. The short lists for the Carol Bolt Award, the RBC Emerging Playwright Award, the Robert Beardsley Award, the Sharon Enkin Plays For Young People Award, as well as the Stage West Comedy & Musical Awards have been released by their respective juries.

FIRST DATE, the romantic comedy musical closing out Stage West Theatre's 40th season, is sweet, charming, tender, uproariously funny, and a celebration of all the worthwhile risks we take in the search for love.

In a Gotham-like city, a 20-year drought causes a terrible water shortage, leading to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a Hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom.

The San Francisco North Bay's Marquee Theater Journalists Association has released the list of nominees for its 4th Annual MTJA Awards. The Association recognized the exemplary work of Sonoma County theater artists with nominations in eighteen categories that were culled from the sixty-eight productions attended by MTJA members. Recipients will be announced at the 2019 MTJA Awards - A Celebration of Sonoma County Theater which will be held October 14th at 3 Disciples Brewing in downtown Santa Rosa.

Under the direction of Childsplay's Artistic Director, Dwayne Hartford, THE MIRACULOUS JOURNEY OF EDWARD TULANE is as powerful and poignant in its emotional punch as its first showing in 2014. Featuring stellar moving portrayals by Katie McFadzen, David Dickinson, Kyle Sorrell, Debra K. Stevens, and Ricky Araiza,the show is a family must-see. Runs on Saturdays and Sundays through October 13th at the Herberger Theater Center's Stage West in Phoenix.

Female fronted hard-rock band Stitched Up Heart have just released their new track 'Warrior' today. Check out the lyric video on YouTube. The track is off of the band's forthcoming full-length album Darkness out spring 2020 via RED MUSIC.

Never Loved will be electrifying audiences across the US this fall, as they join Assuming We Survive and We Were Sharks on the bands' upcoming co-headline tour.
