Outside Edge Theatre Company Announces Judges And Funding For The Phil Fox Award For Playwriting

Outside Edge Theatre Company, which is the UK's only theatre company and participatory arts charity focused on addiction, is pleased to announce that Simon Stephens, Barbara Broccoli OBE, Matt Applewhite and Sonya Hale will join Enda Walsh as judges for the inaugural Phil Fox Award for Playwriting. The Carne Trust will provide support for this year's competition with a generous donation toward the costs of the award's administration.

Chicago Street Theatre Presents THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME

Chicago Street Theatre will present The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-time opening January 24th and running through February 8th. This production follows 15 year old Christopher as he uncovers the mystery surrounding the murder of his neighbor's dog, Wellington, whom he finds butchered with a garden fork. Christopher has an extraordinary mind; he is exceptional at mathematics but struggles to interpret everyday life. His detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a thrilling journey that changes his world.

Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time', written by Mark Haddon, adapted By Simon Stephens and directed by Peter Garruba. 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' is a play that tells the story of Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old boy who, after the mysterious killing of his neighbor's dog, embarks on an investigation and life-changing journey. 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' runs January 17th 2020 thru February 8th 2020 Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm with a Thursday night performance on February 6th 2020 at 8pm and a Saturday matinee on February 8th 2020 at 2pm. Tickets are $27 / $24 Seniors and Students.

Raleigh Little Theatre Presents THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME

Raleigh Little Theatre presents the first local production of the play, which originally premiered at the Royal National Theatre in London in 2012. 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' is a play by Simon Stephens based on the novel by Mark Haddon. The play won the 2013 Olivier Award for Best New Play, and the Broadway production won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2015, among other accolades. RLT's Artistic Director Patrick Torres will direct a fresh new black box staging of the production, running January 17 - February 2 in RLT's intimate Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre.

Steep Theatre Announces Casting For IRONBOUND

Steep Ensemble Member Jonathan Berry returns to Steep to direct Martyna Majok's Ironbound, opening in April. Majok won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Cost of Living. Ironbound received a workshop production in 2014 at Steppenwolf Theatre. Steep Ensemble Member Jonathan Berry has been at the helm of many of the company's most memorable shows, including the recent smash-hit productions of Ike Holter's Red Rex and Simon Stephens' Birdland.

Small Things Theatre Announce World Premiere Of ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT HARD ENOUGH

Small Things Theatre today announce the world première of Anything Is Possible If You Think About It Hard Enough, a new play by Cordelia O'Neill at Southwark Playhouse. Director Kate Budgen's production opens on 6 April, with previews from 1 April, and runs until 25 April. The production renews the creative collaboration with O'Neill, Budgen and Small Things Theatre following No Place For A Woman (Theatre503).
