Programming has been confirmed for the 2023 Williamstown Theatre Festival summer season.

Theater with a View, Pottstown's professional outdoor theater company presenting modern works in a beautiful, multi-acre estate on the border of Chester and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania, is returning to live performances for the first time since August 2019 with the highly-anticipated regional premiere of one of New York's most talked about immersive theater experiences.

The Grown-Ups, an immersive theatrical experience created by Nightdrive and performed outdoors around a campfire for six audience members at a time, will premier in a secret North Brooklyn location beginning Friday, July 30th for a summer engagement through Tuesday, August 31st. Official opening is Sunday, August 8th at 8:30pm.

Nightdrive will present the world premiere of Alien Nation, a live, immersive alien movie, this fall at the Paradise Factory.

Now that we're deep into the summer, you deserve a break without leaving the city. Take a STAYCATION with Nightdrive! On Thursday, July 13 from 8-11pm at Bizarre Bushwick, Nightdrive hosts a summer fundraising party complete with live music, comedy, tarot readings, and more, creating an oasis right in Brooklyn. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

The Tank will host the world premiere of PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, co-written by Skylar Fox and Simon Henriques, and directed by Skylar Fox.

THE ANNOTATED HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN MUSKRAT, an experimental American epic, will receive its New York premiere in the 2016 Ice Factory Festival at New Ohio Theatre. Written by award-winning playwright John Kuntz, the premiere production by the Circuit Theatre Company in Boston was deemed 'an opportunity to see a theater company pushing dramatic boundaries in exciting new ways' by The Boston Globe. Samuel French has announced the winners of the 2015 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival, the nation's leading short play competition. The six winning plays were presented in a Showcase on Sunday, August 9th at the conclusion of the week-long festival at the East 13th Street Theater (Classic Stage Company). These plays will be published, and available for licensing by Samuel French in the 40th Annual edition of its Off Off Broadway Plays collection:

Samuel French presents The Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival, the nation's premier short play competition August 4 - 9 at the East 13th Street Theater (Classic Stage Company). Chosen from over 1,500 submissions (a record breaking number) from the U.S. and abroad, 30 finalist plays, each running 10-30 minutes in length, will be presented. The Sunday, August 9th presentation is the culmination of the week-long festival at which the six winning plays will be presented.

The Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival, the nation's premier short play competition, announces the 30 finalists for its 40th Anniversary of the Festival.  Chosen from over 1,500 submissions (a record breaking number) from the U.S. and abroad, these 30 plays will be presented during a week-long festival August 6th-9th. All performances will take place at the East 13th Street Theater (Classic Stage Company).

Summer in DC brings great opportunities to celebrate and discover new plays, the first of which is CulturalDC's Source Festival, which opened June 5 and runs through June 28 with varied offerings of full-length plays, 10-minute plays and artistic blind dates. You don't go into a show called The Annotated History of the American Muskrat without some very specific preconceptions. This definition also applies to the art of theater - and with so much in common, it makes sense that the two should team up. After a successful first installment in 2011, the Comic Book Theater Festival is coming back to The Brick for 'Issue #2' in June 2014. Get ready for a new crop of shows that explore the intersection of the panel and the stage, the live and the drawn, the ink and the actor.
