ATTICAToday, SHOWTIME Documentary Films announced ATTICA, a new feature-length film from acclaimed Emmy-winning documentarian Stanley Nelson (Freedom Riders, The Murder of Emmett Till).

Today, SHOWTIME announced that it will offer a 30-day free trial to new customers available now. Viewers who sign up before May 3 can access the network's original series, documentaries, specials and movies online via the SHOWTIME streaming service by going to SHOWTIME.com or the SHOWTIME app, available on all supported devices. Subscribers can catch up on the network's No. 1 drama HOMELAND, which will continue to air new episodes of its final season through its series finale on April 26. Many of the network's streaming partners and traditional TV providers will also offer a 30-day free trial to SHOWTIME.

Veteran corporate finance executive Adam Townsend will be departing Showtime Networks Inc. (SNI) at the end of the month after 12 years of combined service across Showtime Networks and CBS. Since joining SNI, Townsend has been instrumental in developing a broader financial strategy and guiding the network's growth in streaming. He has also played a key role in the integration of Showtime Networks within ViacomCBS, setting the network up for future success. He will transition the role to Michael Crotty, who has been named SNI's new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Crotty will also have oversight of BET Networks' finance team. The announcement was made today by David Nevins, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Showtime Networks Inc. to whom Crotty will report.

SHOWTIME has released every episode of the second, standalone season of its docu-series THE TRADE to its subscribers. All four episodes are available now for on-demand streaming or download on the SHOWTIME and SHOWTIME ANYTIME® apps, as well as for viewing via SHOWTIME On Demand. Emmy winner Jessi Klein (Inside Amy Schumer, BLACK MONDAY, Big Mouth) will serve as showrunner and executive produce along with Michael Showalter (The Big Sick, Wet Hot American Summer, The Lovebirds), who will direct, as well as Annapurna's Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle and Jordana Mollick of Semi-Formal.

SHOWTIME has released the trailer and key art for the upcoming docu-series LOVE FRAUD, premiering on Friday, May 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The series marks the first foray into episodic television for Emmy winners and Academy Award(R) nominees Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady. LOVE FRAUD had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, the first time in the festival's history a television series screened on opening night.

SHOWTIME has given a series order to the first season of the hour-long drama FIRST LADIES, starring and executive produced by Oscar, Emmy and Tony® winner Viola Davis, who will play former first lady Michelle Obama.
