The Mason Players and George Mason University's School of Theatre to Stage Sarah Ruhl's EURYDICE

Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl is set to be presented by The Mason Players. It will appears at George Mason University TheaterSpace (de Laski Performing Arts Building, Room: A105) on the Fairfax Campus, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. The play runs from March 3rd through the 6th, with shows on the 3rd-5th at 8pm and shows on the 5th-6th at 2pm. Eurydice tickets are $30 for general admission and $15 for students, faculty/staff, and seniors.

The Old Globe announced today the cast and creative team for its first production of the 2022 Season, Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress (Wedding Band: A Love/Hate Story in Black and White), which began rehearsal today. San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award winner Delicia Turner Sonnenberg (The Bluest Eye) directs this revival of the neglected modern-day classic.

Part of Studio Theatre’s first digital season and more specifically featuring a trio of eclectic solo performances, Flow might be called a mixed metaphor. It blends the old West African tradition of griot — an oral tradition combining a historian, storyteller, praise singer, poet, and musician — with seven storytellers of an urban community presumably in the States.

INTO THE WOODS opened on Broadway over 30 years ago. It has since been revived several times, adapted into a Disney Film, and presented by countless regional and community theatres as well as school groups. If you are thinking, "been there - done that" and there is no reason to see this presentation at BSC you are certainly not alone (no one is, after all) but I believe you are mistaken.
