In the fall of 2019 the Ohio University School of Theater will welcome its first class to an exciting new chapter of its undergraduate Theater Performance degree program. Two interrelated four-year degree tracks will now be offered in either acting or musical theater, with an innovative curricular approach designed to prepare students for the rapidly changing theater industry.

Previews have begun for BETWEEN GODS AND KINGS: A New Rock Show based on Euripides' classic greek tragedy, The Bacchae. The immersive and energetic production began its weekly party-like run at BEDLAM BAR (40 Avenue C) in the East Village last night. It will play every Thursday at 10pm until May 9. On Jan 26th, 2019 NEWSical The Musical, the 10th longest running Off-Broadway show and 3rd longest running musical revue in NY history, will be celebrating its 3000th performance at Theatre Row. To celebrate the milestone the show will be receiving a proclamation from Speaker of the City Council, Corey Johnson, as well as a proclamation from the New York State Assembly.

Yet their performances, with many of the actors taking on an exhausting list of roles, make TOXIC AVENGER seem like a much larger presentation.
