A Christmas Carol, Alliance Theatre's annual holiday production, returns for its 30th season, November 16 - December 24, 2019. After two seasons at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the Alliance's production will return home to the newly renovated Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre on the campus of the Woodruff Arts Center.

The Weird Sisters Theatre Project has selected a brand-new team of female artists to continue producing theatre in Atlanta by women, for everyone. In the vein of the company's mission to foster and cultivate opportunities for women in the arts with a commitment to producing works by women for everyone, they are excited to bequeath their power and responsibilities to the next outstanding producing team. Applications were shared in late summer 2019 with the Atlanta arts community and two rounds of interviews were conducted this fall by a conglomerate of founding members and producers from the outgoing team.

Audiences don't need to be familiar with the original story to enjoy this "Part 2," as playwright Lucas Hnath juxtaposes contemporary and classic sensibilities to create a thought-provoking and sharp-witted comedy.

Serenbe Playhouse presents GREASE

Serenbe Playhouse, recipient of the prestigious American Theatre Wing grant, and recently honored with the most Suzi Bass Awards for a musical in Atlanta (Miss Saigon), is pleased to present GREASE, by Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey. The show is directed by Brian Clowdus with music direction by Chris Brent Davis and choreography by Bubba Carr. The show opens on March 23rd and runs through April 16th, only. Performance times are Wednesdays through Sundays at 8pm.
