Kate Davis has shared the second offering from her upcoming album Trophy out November 8 on Solitaire Recordings (Common Holly, Jonathan Something). Consequence of Sound premiered 'Cloud' today, saying 'the track is a soft, rolling number with daydreaming guitar lines tumbling over the steady snap of a snare.' Kate elaborates, ''Cloud' is a love song written about the fleeting relationships and desires of our teen dreams. The song was tracked live at Trout Recording in BK. I do not have a creepy obsession with teens - merely a desire to relive some of my lost youth.'

The third show in the 2019 season is the Broadway At Music Circus premiere of the award-winning musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone is now on stage, starring writeractorcomedian Bruce Vilanch and featuring a cast of Broadway veterans. Coach: An Evening with John Wooden will open the festival on Wednesday, September 18 at 7:00pm and play an encore performance on Saturday, September 21 at 4:00pm.

From Wednesday, August 7 through Tuesday, August 20, BAM presents Punks, Poets, and Valley Girls: Women Filmmakers in 1980s America, a 14-day, 27-feature, 10-short series that surveys bold works by female filmmakers in a conservative decade, ranging from studio blockbusters to politically radical underground masterpieces. The series builds on BAM's previous surveys of American women filmmakers.
