A legion of fans and supporters of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley gathered online Saturday, October 17 for TheatreWorks's first-ever virtual gala, From TheatreWorks with Love: A Party with Bond… Tim Bond, a 007-themed event that celebrated new Artistic Director Tim Bond as he begins his tenure at the Tony Award-winning theatre company.
Syracuse Stage Announces New Board Leadership

Syracuse Stage has announced that Herman Frazier, senior deputy director of athletics, Syracuse University, has assumed the role of board president; Nancy Green, managing member, Edward S. Green & Associates, LLC, has taken the position of board chair; and Amir Rahnamay-Azar, senior vice president for business, finance and administrative services and chief financial officer, Syracuse Univesity, is the new board treasurer. In addition to Frazier, Green and Rahnamay-Azar, the board welcomes two new trustees. Frazier replaces outgoing board president Bethaida “Bea” González, who will remain on the board as a trustee.

Michigan Opera Theatre (MOT) has added free, live screenings of Michigan Opera Theatre Gary L. Wasserman Artistic Director Yuval Sharon's highly-anticipated “Götterdämmerung” adaptation, “Twilight: Gods.” Screenings will take place Oct. 20 and 21, starting at 6:20 p.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m. inside the Detroit Opera House.

1812 Productions has announced its 2020-2021 theatre season. The 2020-2021 season features four original comedic works that are being designed for virtual performance, with live performances tentatively scheduled for spring, 2021. Each production will feature a mixture of live performance and pre-recorded material and will be streamed through 1812 Productions' website.
