AARP The Magazine unveiled the winners of its annual Movies for Grownups®Awards with a 20th anniversary special, featuring honorees from Being the Ricardos, Belfast, CODA, Dopesick, Hacks, House of Gucci, King Richard and more. Long Island Musical Theatre Festival has announced that Stephen Schwartz will join its 2022 summer program as a guest artist. Schwartz will join a long list of LIMTF guest artists, which includes Beth Leavel, Jeanine Tesori, Alice Ripley, Jay Armstrong Johnson and more.

Chicago sketch comedy writers John Klingle and Paul Brennan bring their anarchic humor back to the stage in Strictly Platonic, a raucous celebration of dysfunctional friendship. John and Paul play John and Paul, respectively, juggling the roles of emasculated fathers, naïve prison guards, and problematic method actors, whilst struggling to keep their corporate sponsorships.

The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away, which just celebrated its 5th year on Broadway, has just announced that original cast member Joel Hatch will depart the production on Sunday, March 20 and Gene Weygandt will begin performances as ‘Claude & others’ on Tuesday, March 22. Gene joins the company from the Australia cast of COME FROM AWAY.
