James Dacre, the Artistic Director at Royal & Derngate Northampton, has announced the theatre’s new Made in Northampton season, featuring eighteen productions. The programme encompasses plays, musicals, a feature film, On Demand theatre, podcasts and a new interactive digital work.

Armenian-American conductor Tigran Arakelyan appointed Executive Director of Music Works Northwest, one of the largest non-profit music education organizations in the Pacific Northwest.

The Mansion of Saratoga's 801 dinner concert series has a packed line up of top talent this season. Tomorrow night, Thursday July 7, popular R&B recording artist Morgan James will perform on the Mansion's great tented deck at 8 p.m.

The Crown Arts Collaborative (CAC), a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission of returning theatre and art to the historic Crown Uptown Theatre, continues their inaugural theatrical season with The Wedding Singer, the Tony Award-nominated musical based on the 1998 Adam Sandler film of the same name. Performances run weekends July 15 - August 7 at the Crown Uptown, with Friday and Saturday showtimes at 8:00 PM, and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. This will be the regional premier of The Wedding Singer, the first time the show has been produced by a professional company in Wichita or surrounding markets.

Francesca Moody Productions and Kater Gordon have announced the full cast for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022 world premiere of KATHY AND STELLA SOLVE A MURDER! The five-strong cast features real-life best friends Bronté Barbé (Kathy) and Rebekah Hinds (Stella) in the title roles, playing Hull’s least successful true crime podcasters Kathy Baxter and Stella Carmichael.

The production stars Micah JL Brooks as Brindsley Miller, Alli Franken as Carol Melkett, Jakie Cabe as Colonel Melkett, Hannah Bell as Miss Furnival, Micah Green as Harold Gorringe, Jenna Anderson as Clea, Andrew Nicolas as Schuppanzigh and Kelley Garland as Georg Bamberger.

The Suncoast Black Arts Collaborative has welcomed four new members to its board of directors: Dr. Denise Davis-Cotton, Kristofer Geddie, Tim Jaeger, and Gregory Rumph II. 

Multi award winning actress-singer-comedienne, Sharon McNight, will return to New York City from the West Coast to her old haunt, Don't Tell Mama, for only two shows on Tuesday, July 12, at 7:00 PM and Friday, July 15, at 9:30 PM.

Due to reasons beyond her control, Tommie-Amber Pirie will no longer be appearing in  the Coal Mine's production of DETROIT. Louise Lambert will be taking over the role of Sharon. Because of this change, previews will be moved to July 8th and 9th and Opening Night will be on July 10th.

Broadway Rose Theatre Company will continue its 2022 Season of Live Musicals with You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the comic strip 'Peanuts' by Charles M. Schulz. Preview performance is Thursday, July 7, with opening night on Friday, July 8, and performances continuing through July 31.
