Raven Theatre, Chicago's newest Equity-affiliated theatre, is pleased to continue its 2021-22 Season with Jonathan Harvey's sweet and charming coming-of-age play Beautiful Thing, directed by Mikael Burke. This touching story of two boys living in London discovering how they fit into the world around them will play February 9 – March 27, 2022 on Raven's 85-seat East Stage, 6157 N. Clark St. (at Granville) in Chicago.

Street Corner Arts will present a Livestream Production of THE SPIN by Spenser Davis. As we all navigate this pandemic and how to present theatre in a safe way, Street Corner Arts decided to expand their borders and bring in artists from Chicago to collaborate with them virtually to create a new Austin to Chicago artistic connection.

Two intergalactic trash collectors, both women, one Black, one white, are hurtling through space toward the finish of their anniversary route, ready to celebrate their return to Earth. But a surprising job sends them back out to the asteroid belt and forces them to make a devastating choice.

Scattered throughout the calendar year, Sideshow will broadcast five readings of plays we love, written by playwrights they love. Every party has to have a theme, darling, and Sideshow will not disappoint. A play is an event, and so each play will have a customized party experience to bring the audience together even when we're apart.

Fresh off the success of Random Acts' Recommended production of The Diplomats, which NewCity called 'timely as ever,' the company will present 2 PILOTS, 2 PLAYS, a reading series by Ben F. Locke. The scripts will be performed live over Zoom each Friday in February.
