Extension Of SMALL JOKES ABOUT MONSTERS Announced At 16th Street Theater

16th Street Theater announces the extension of the Midwest premiere of the critically-acclaimed SMALL JOKES ABOUT MONSTERS by Steven Strafford directed by Kristina Valada-Viars now through February 23 at North Berwyn Park District's 16th Street Theater, 6420 16th Street in Berwyn.

Ryan says there are three different kinds of funny people: Godzillas, Mothras and Gameras. He and his two brothers rent a beach house after their estranged father's funeral to open the envelope their father left them. When their mother shows up, truths are revealed and tempers flare. SMALL JOKES is about how we choose to deal with trauma, and how we use humor to cover it up.

Playwright Steven Strafford is the author of his one-man show Methtacular! (TimeOut NY #1 pick of show to see, Jeff Nomination solo performance) and is a much-loved musical theater performer seen most recently at Marriott and Drury Lane.

Featuring Esteban Andres Cruz, Eric Slater, Christopher Wayland Jones and Shariba Rivers.
