The American Theatre Wing and The Village Voice have announced that the 65th Annual Obie Awards, New York's preeminent celebration of Off- and Off-Off-Broadway theater, are now set to premiere on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 8:00pm EDT.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is inviting all songwriters to submit their original songs for consideration for one of MAC's two songwriting awards: the Dottie Berman Award and the John Wallowitch Award. Submitters do not need to be MAC members.

The producers and songwriters of SATURDAY NIGHT SEDER have announced today's release of singles, 'When You Believe,' with powerhouse vocalists Cynthia Erivo and Shoshana Bean, accompanied by esteemed composer Stephen Schwartz, as well as the original song, 'Next Year,' sung by composer/musician Shaina Taub and actor/singer Skylar Astin.

As New York City officials continue to enforce a city-wide curfew, which was called to avoid continued violence and looting in the streets, many are questioning its effectiveness. The Public Theater's WE ARE ONE PUBLIC, a one-night-only star-studded virtual event to support The Public, will take place on Monday, June 1. A new video has been released of host Jesse Tyler Ferguson hilariously making his rounds of phone calls to the stars who will appear in the event.
