MAC nominee and Broadway World Award Winner, Becca Kidwell adds an additional performance of her highly praised show, TOGETHER INSIDE, on Friday, June 10th at 7pm at Don't Tell Mama in addition to her performance on Sunday, May 22nd at 4pm. 

This week I saw a Broadway farce, an Off-Broadway history play and an Off-Off Broadway adaptation all written and directed by women.

Phillipa Soo sat down on the third hour of the TODAY Show this morning to discuss the importance of the new Off-Broadway musical, SUFFS. Soo also touched on the fact that SUFFS is her return to the Public Theatre, the same theatre that she originated the role of Eliza in Hamilton at.

CreateTheater will present The Golden Cage, a new musical, as part of their New Works Festival. The Golden Cage runs April 20-24 at Theatre Four in Theatre Row at 42nd Street, NYC. Southbank Theatre Company presents a musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's “Twelfth Night,” with music and lyrics by Shaina Taub, at The Play Ground at IndyFringe, April 28 through May 8. This marks Southbank's first musical, which is fitting for what will be, for many, the first outdoor show of the season.
