The World Premiere of brand new musical A World Divided will open for one night only at Milton Keynes Theatre on 17 April followed by an additional performance at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on 26 May.

The Baltimore quartet have developed the uncanny psychedelia of 2022’s Gold Arc and Construction EPs to give space to something more raw and immediate. The video was directed by the band's Austyn Wohlers, who was inspired by Pylon's music video for 'Beep,' and features a solitary Jamison traversing the empty streets and basements of Baltimore. 

Directed by Greta Gerwig, the film will also star Margot Robie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferreria, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ncuti Gatwa, Emerald Fennell, Hari Nef, Sharon Rooney, and more. The DOWNTOWN URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL will present 16 plays (nine shorts and seven one-acts.) The festival kicks off on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 when Savion Glover and Reg E. Gaines (Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk) make a much-anticipated return to The Public Theater with the centerpiece production If Trane Wuz Here.

September 14, 2021, is a day I will never forget.  After an 18-month break due to Covid, Broadway reopened.  Something special happened that morning.  On Good Morning America, there was a special performance from 'The Lion King' that had the cast in places around New York City, awakening the city and Broadway, leading to the cast gathering in Time Square, all during a performance of the opening song 'Circle of Life.' After an eight-year break in Des Moines, you can finally experience the breathtaking opening of 'The Lion King' again during its multi-week run at Des Moines Performing Arts.  Iowa is happy to have the show back again if the audience is any indication.

New York Composers Circle, celebrating its 20th Anniversary season, will present Rowing in Eden, a concert of new music on Thursday, April 13 at 7:00 PM at Church of the Transfiguration, 'Little Church Around the Corner'.

The track was recorded with Jim White at his house in Athens, GA, Jesse Magnum at The Glow Studio, also in Athens, and the Bomb Shelter in Nashville (Ben's hometown) with Drew Carroll engineering. Jim White produced the track, while the mixing and mastering was done by John Keane.

Ariana Grande has shared a new photo from the set of Wicked, revealing that they are halfway done with filming. Joining Grande as Glinda and Erivo as Elphaba is Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Ethan Slater as Boq, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum as Madame Morrible and the Wizard, respectively, and Marissa Bode as Nessarose.

John Haidar’s production of Hamlet ... is a briskly modern piece which fizzes with primal urges, adding a new lens to a a familiar text. Very accessible to those new to the play, and a thoughtful treatment for those who know the plot well, this Hamlet is a 'palpable hit'.
