Seth Sikes: The Songs That Got Away Comes to Feinstein's/54 Below

Seth Sikes will return to Feinstein's/54 Below on Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00PM in The Songs That Got Away performing many hit songs from the Judy Garland catalogue, plus some tunes that Garland never got the chance to perform herself. He will be back by a seven-piece band.

Last night it was Jim Caruso who introduced Julie to a room full of her fans in the Birdland Theater. As Jim pointed out to an excited audience, Julie was one of the first artists he thought of for Birdland's new space.

ASCAP Award-winning writer/producer Chip Deffaa's new CD, 'An Irving Berlin Travelogue,' is being released today. The album is an outgrowth of shows celebrating Berlin that Deffaa has been presenting at his base in New York, the 13th Street Theater. Seth Sikes Returns To Provincetown This Month

Seth Sikes of whom NY Arts Review said, "may well be one of the saviors of the Great American Songbook" will return to Provincetown at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, July 24 at 8PM. Sikes is one of New York's best known nightclub performers and his debut at the Paramount sold-out as has each of his appearances at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York.

New York-based performer, director, and cabaret star, Seth Sikes, returns to Feinstein's/54 Below this May with his exciting new show -- The Songs That Got Away. These songs, paying tribute to the legendary Judy Garland, have not yet been performed for audiences and will be sure to leave fans feeling inspired and deeply moved. Provincetown's Crown & Anchor Announces 2018 Cabaret Series Season

Producer Rick Murray will present the 2018 Cabaret Series in Provincetown, MA this summer at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre, Cabaret Room, and Town Hall Auditorium.  Tickets are now on sale for the Series, in which an impressive list of award-winning stars will be performing live in full concerts.  Following up on last summer's smash hit season, the 2018 Cabaret Series will include the talents of comedian Paula Poundstone as well as Broadway stars Lucie Arnaz (They're Playing Our Song, Pippin), Telly Leung (Aladdin, Allegiance), Anthony Rapp (Rent, If/Then), Linda Eder (Jekyll and Hyde), and Emmy Award winners Leslie Jordan (Will and Grace) and Bruce Vilanch.

The Music Of Tin Pan Alley With Richard Dowling And Seth Sikes Comes To Yamaha Piano Salon

Musicians Foundation, the over-a-century-old nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to artists in need, proudly announces its 2018 Tin Pan Alley Celebration Fundraising Recital, scheduled to take place on April 4 from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm at Yamaha Artist Services Piano Salon, located at 689 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The evening will feature a performance by acclaimed classical and ragtime pianist Richard Dowling with accompaniment by cabaret and stage vocalist Seth Sykes. The duet will play the music of great Tin Pan Alley composers, including George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin and Jerome Kern. Light refreshments and drinks will be served throughout the evening.

Maryann Lopinto Wins Seth Sikes Award

In an awards ceremony at New  York's 13th Street Repertory Theater, Maryann Lopinto has been presented with the 'Seth Sikes Award,' honoring her 50 years of service to cabaret  and theater communities.

Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday was the surprise guest when man-about-town Rob Shmalo celebrated his 40th birthday in style over last weekend with a series of parties around the city that boasted some of New York's most familiar faces. He treated his guests on Friday night to a show at the Duplex by Robbyne Kaamil where original Jersey Boy Daniel Reichard roasted the birthday boy. Afterwards party-goers went a few blocks away to the Cornelia Street home of Soho House exec David Aldea. The 5,500 sq foot carriage house was once home to Taylor Swift who rented it for $40K. The home boasts an indoor swimming pool and is currently on the market for just under $20 million.
