Second Stage Theater has announced full casting for the off-Broadway production of Rajiv Joseph’s LETTERS OF SURESH. The production will feature Ali Ahn, Ramiz Monsef, Kellie Overbey and Thom Sesma. 

They also flew in their drummer Rob Humphreys (Leonard Cohen, Jason Mraz) for the recording and worked with Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, Christina Perri, Ben Rector) back in Oklahoma for keys and additional production as well as keyboardist Dan Walker (Heart).

Opened in 1906, the King's Theatre, Edinburgh is an important venue for touring drama, musicals and children's shows. It is home to Scotland's biggest Panto production and each year plays a pivotal role in hosting the Edinburgh International Festival.

Second Stage Theater has confirmed that Patrick J. Adams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jesse Williams will return for the upcoming production of Richard Greenberg’s Tony-winning play, TAKE ME OUT. TAKE ME OUT will now begin previews on Broadway at the Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street) on March 9, 2022 and will officially open on April 4, 2022.

Graciela Daniele has directed on Broadway, at Lincoln Center and the Public Theater, and at regional theaters and has earned ten Tony Award nominations and six Drama Desk nominations. Her Broadway Director/Choreographic credits include Chita Rivera, The Dancer's Life, Annie Get Your Gun, Marie Christine, Once on This Island, Chronicle of a Death Foretold and Dangerous Game.

The 5th Avenue Theatre announced today the five writing teams representing BIPOC writers of all gender identities, women writers, transgender writers, gender non-conforming writers, and non-binary writers that have been selected to receive a First Draft Commission in the second cycle of its new musical development program, First Draft: Raise Your Voice.

'Japanese Love Story - Shizuka', written & directed by Hollywood Fringe Scholarship Winner, Tomoko Karina ('Camellia- Kerris- Pink' - Winner of the Best Foreign Mini-Movie at Brentwood and Pacific Palisades International Film Festival) will premiere in Los Angeles, CA on Augst 12th, 2021, during Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Team Love and Simple Things present IDLES, Clifton Downs, Friday 3rd September (15:00 to 23:00 hrs). The full musical line-up for IDLES' Bristol Homecoming show has been unveiled, with a riotous full day programme of amazing bands, DJs and electronic producers.

This socially distant installation experience is inspired by DEFINITION, an upcoming musical that takes a surrealist look at an African American woman's inner awakenings. Created by director and musician Whitney White, this multi-media event will take the audience through a guided journey with pre-recorded text and music.

Syracuse Stage Artistic Director Robert Hupp today announced an expansion of the senior artistic staff. As of September 1, veteran New York based director Melissa Crespo becomes the theater's associate artistic director. Kyle Bass, who currently holds that position, will transition to a new role as the theater's first resident playwright and will remain a member of the theater's senior artistic staff.
