Award-winning Broadway playwright Theresa Rebeck will write the book for the Broadway-aimed Working Girl. While she's had more plays produced on Broadway than any female playwright of our time, Working Girl would mark Rebeck's Broadway debut as a book writer for a musical.

Manhattan Theatre Club, Atlantic Theater Company, Lincoln Center Theater, The Public Theater, Second Stage Theater, and Signature Theatre mourn the passing of Judith Champion on July 28, 2022 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Artisan Center Theater presents AMON! THE ULTIMATE TEXAN at its 150 seat Second Stage facility. The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst, TX. The show runs Saturday, August 27, 2022 through Saturday, September 10, 2022.

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for the first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Joining the cast are Nadia Daniel and Jurnee Elizabeth Swan. Rounding out the company are Shirine Babb, Charles Browning, Peter Jay Fernandez, Sharina Martin, Warner Miller, Doron JePaul Mitchell and Kim Sullivan.

The work of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer Jonathan Larson returns to Portland Center Stage after a 7-week run of his blockbuster musical Rent. Larson's autobiographical musical tick, tick … BOOM! was written before Rent and is in many ways its origin story. Featuring a similarly rocking score, it offers a backstage tour of the love and sweat Larson put into making his Broadway musical dreams a reality. 

Single tickets are now on sale for Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' WORLD PREMIERE presentation of INVINCIBLE - THE MUSICAL, featuring the music of Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, from November 22 to December 17, 2022, in The Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater.

wild project will present F*ck7thGrade, music, lyrics, and concept by Jill Sobule, book by Liza Birkenmeier and directed by Lisa Peterson with music direction by Julie Wolf. F*ck7thGrade begins performances on Wednesday, October 12 for a limited engagement through Saturday, November 5.
