SH-K-BOOM RECORDS has announced it will record the new musical comedy, Gettin' The Band Back Together for an Original Broadway Cast Album to be released later this year. The production, currently running at The Belasco Theatre, is directed by Tony Award winner John Rando and choreographed by Chris Bailey.

Gettin' The Band Back Together today announced that the town of Sayreville, NJ will join them as co-producers. "Our whole show is a love letter to New Jersey, and specifically to Sayreville where it takes place," said producer Ken Davenport.

DRG Records just kicked off the release of Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway: Comes Out Swinging! (2014 Un-Original Cast Album), produced by Grammy Award winner Hugh Fordin, yesterday at Barnes & Noble (150 East 86 Street).
