Music Theatre of Connecticut’s 39th season closes with Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical, a fun, energetic show that closely follows the story of the 1980 hit movie.

9 to 5 The Musical will conclude Music Theatre of Connecticut’s 39th season. The production features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. Performances will take place in Norwalk.

Portland Stage will begin 2026 with big belly laughs! Bringing this three-time Tony Award-winning laugh riot, Lend Me A Tenor by Ken Ludwig, to the stage.

CreateTheater has revealed the recipients of its 2025 New Works Festival Awards. Now in its fourth year, the festival continues to offer a premier platform for fresh, original voices in American theater.

The Green Room 42 celebrated Mother's Day with a family-friendly musical inspired by centuries-old fables. The messages and life lessons come through in force and in song when Aesop's characters are the characters in a musical.

The humorous set-up for the new musical at The York, Christmas in Hell is a bit of an old chestnut, but bookwriter/composer/lyricist Gary Apple makes it sing nicely.

The comedy musical, Christmas In Hell recently premiered at the York Theatre Company in New York City, bringing plenty of laughs with ridiculous musical numbers.
