New Village Arts To Present LEONARD BERNSTEIN'S NEW YORK

New Village Arts (NVA), North County's cultural hub, will produce a loving tribute to Leonard Bernstein's work as a composer. Conceived and arranged by Broadway conductor, music director and arranger Rob Fisher, Leonard Bernstein's New York features memorable songs from WEST SIDE STORY, ON THE TOWN, WONDERFUL TOWN, and many more.

2021 Dottie Burman and John Wallowitch Awards Now Accepting Submissions

MAC is inviting all songwriters to submit their original songs for consideration for one of MAC's two songwriting awards: the Dottie Burman Award and the John Wallowitch Award. Submitters do not need to be MAC members. There is no submission fee. MAC encourages all songwriters to submit their work for consideration.

This weekend, Dec. 1-3, the Wagner College Theatre will present Small Town Story in its Stage One studio theater, part of the WCT's New Works Agenda of dramatic works in progress. The musical, written by Brandon James Gwinn and Sammy Buck and directed by WCT professor Michele Pawk, will feature performances each night at 8 p.m. and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. All performances are free, with reservations suggested by calling 718-390-3259.
