The Playhouse Youth Company at Bucks County Playhouse will present an all-new one-hour, show written and starring eleven young women from throughout the region.  Entitled, “Dream Awake,” the show will run on the main stage at the Playhouse from Thursday, July 22  through Sunday, July 25. T

The ceremony will be streamed LIVE on YouTube, Twitch and other platforms on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from Los Angeles, CA at 5PM PT/8PM ET, with a pre-show starting at 4:30PM PT/7:30PM ET.

Mill Mountain Theatre has begun rehearsals for their upcoming holiday show, The Sound of Music,a?? running December 4th - 22nd on the Trinkle MainStage. The cast is led by Roanoke's own Emma Gwin (Maria), Broadway's Timothy Booth* (Captain Georg von Trapp), and Mary Grace Gordon* (Mother Abbess). Two casts of talented local youth play the VonTrapp children on alternating performances.

The show will run July 24 - August 3, 2018, on the Bucks County Playhouse stage. There are evening performances on Wednesday, July 24 and Sunday, July 28 at 7:30 pm. Daytime performances are July 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and August 1, 2 and 3 at 10:30 a.m.

This week, critically acclaimed rock n' roll true crime podcast Disgraceland explores the disappearance and mysterious death ofRick Philp, the guitar player on Van Morrison's landmark creative statement,Astral Weeks. Philp's death came as Morrison was hiding out from the NYC mafia in Boston following a physical attack by a member of the Genovese crime family. Military veteran artists will present special readings of poetry, flash fiction and more before each performance of OUTSIDE PADUCAH: THE WARS AT HOME, written and performed by J. A. Moad II, running at the wild project from September 26 - October 15, for the first annual VETERANS VOICES 2017, a groundbreaking initiative celebrating the creative work of our military veterans.
