The Alliance Theatre to Present 30th Anniversary Production of A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol, Alliance Theatre's annual holiday production, returns for its 30th season, November 16 - December 24, 2019. After two seasons at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the Alliance's production will return home to the newly renovated Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre on the campus of the Woodruff Arts Center.

BWW Feature: LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Celebrates Closing Night at Shea's 710 Theatre joined by Cast of THE BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY

Starring Buffalo concluded it's 3 performances of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS on Saturday night. The visiting Broadway artists included Matt Doyle as Seymour, Lindsay Nicole Chambers as Audrey and Brandon Espinoza as the Dentist. Artistic Director Drew Fornarola has announced EVITA as the spring of 2020 staged musical concert. Casting will be announced in the new year. The company is using Shea's 710 Theatre this season, after it's inaugural season at Rockwell Hall last year presenting THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. The touring cast of THE BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY was also in town and joined in to celebrate.

Berkeley Rep Announces Full Cast And Creative For THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for PigPen Theatre Co's The Tale of Despereaux: A New Musical. Coming off a successful run at The Old Globe in San Diego, where it had its world premiere, The Tale of Despereaux, with book, lyrics, and music by PigPen Theatre Co. and directed by Marc Bruni and PigPen Theatre Co., will begin previews at Berkeley Rep on Thursday, November 21, 2019 and run through Sunday, January 5, 2020. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is Coming to The Dio

The Dio a?" Dining & Entertainment, Livingston County's professional, award winning dinner theatre, is very excited to present their original musical, Home for the Holidays, directed by Steve DeBruyne with musical direction by Brian E. Buckner and choreography by Lexie Janda. 2019 marks the fifth year that Home for the Holidays has been presented in Livingston County. The show was written by Dio co-founders, Steve DeBruyne and Matthew G. Tomich in 2012.

Full Cast and Creatives Announced For ROMEO & BERNADETTE: A MUSICAL TALE OF VERONA AND BROOKLYN

The cast and creative team have been announced for the Off-Broadway premiere of Romeo & Bernadette: A Musical Tale of Verona and Brooklyn, with book and lyrics by Mark Saltzman, music adapted from classic Italian melodies, and directed and choreographed by Justin Ross Cohen. Previews begin at the Mezzanine Theatre at A.R.T./New York Theatres 502 West 53rd Street (10th Avenue & 53rd Street) on Tuesday, January 14th at 7pm with an official opening on Thursday, January 23rd at 8pm. Performances will continue through February 16, 2020.

MAC Award-Winner Rosemary Loar Presents EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSIE At Don't Tell Mama

When one heads toward the two cabaret rooms at the venerable New York club Don't Tell Mama, they pass a wall of show posters highlighting cabaret stars, past and present. One of those posters is from the early 1980s and features Rosemary Loar, who at that time was in the early stages of a cabaret and musical theater career that is now into its fourth decade. Loar is celebrating her success in both genres during the run of her latest cabaret show, EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSIE, where she delivers iconic songs from classic Broadway Musicals in which Loar herself starred, whether on Broadway, Off-Broadway, or in regional theater. 

Westchester Collaborative Theater WCT's Jazz Masters Series Presents The Willie Martinez Latin Jazz Quartet

On Saturday, November 2, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) continues its Jazz Masters music series with the Willie Martinez Latin Jazz Quartet. Martinez, an accomplished drummer, percussionist, arranger/composer and vocalist, will be joined by Nicki Denner on piano/vocals, Bernie Minoso on bass, and Anton Denner on reeds and flute. The group will perform two sets at 7:30 and 9 pm at WCT, 23 Water Street in Ossining.
