This upbeat musical opens on Springfield High's prom in 1958, which has unexpectedly lost its musical act. To save the night, four female friends-Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy-take the stage to entertain their classmates in four-part harmony. The Marvelous Wonderettes starts May 29 in FST's Gompertz Theatre.
On Sunday June 16th, The Marvelous Wonderettes, currently playing Off-Broadway at Theatre Row, will take its final bow. The show had initially ended its three year run in January, but returned for Sunday performances shortly thereafter. Returning for the final performances as Missy Miller is Kristy Cates (Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Finding Neverland); who starred in the show in 2016.

The producers of the UK Premiere of Off-Broadway smash-hit comedy musical The Marvelous Wonderettes have announced today that the show will transfer to the Theatre Royal Windsor when it concludes its run at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Highgate Village on Sunday 12 May 2019. The show will play the Theatre Royal Windsor from Thursday 16 May until Saturday 25 May 2019 for thirteen performances only.

Country music is like cilantro. Either you like it or you don't. I fall into the latter category on both. It's not a snobby thing. My dislike for cilantro, I'm told, has to do with genetics and my country gene seems to either be latent or missing. I mean, all of my friends love it, and I'd like to get with the program, I swear.
