In its dynamic Donald M. Ephraim Family Gallery, the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County will present another thought-provoking exhibition: Veni, Vidi, Vici by international portrait artist Serge Strosberg, January 6 through February 18, 2023. The exhibition is an artistic exploration of the life and influence of Henry Morrison Flagler, the founder of Standard Oil and the Florida East Coast Railroad, as well as the cities of Miami and Palm Beach.

This fall, Steep Theatre will return to the stage with the Midwest Premiere of Alexis Scheer’s Our Dear Dead Drug Lord, opening October 28. This production will mark Steep’s first from award-winning playwright Scheer and Sophiyaa Nayar’s Steep directorial debut.

Dave Lawrence, President & CEO of the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County today announced that the first event of CULTURE & COCKTAILS, originally scheduled for January 10, has been postponed to Monday, May 9. The decision was made with an abundance of caution and concern for guests and staff due to the current surge of COVID infections. All current RSVPs/tickets for next Monday will be honored for the new date at no additional cost.

It's that time of year again. Yes, stores are all decked out in holiday decorations, the Allen Theatre lobby is filled with Christmas Trees, and local theatres are strutting their stuff doing holiday productions. Many of the venues have run out of fresh material so they are remounting scripts from the past or trying to conceive some new holiday cheer and eliminate mid-Covid angst.
