All-Female Cast And Creative Team Announced For Rebecca Gilman's TWILIGHT BOWL

Goodman Theatre has announced the cast for Twilight Bowl by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rebecca Gilman, an Artistic Associate who marks her ninth production-and seventh world premiere-with the Goodman. Set in a rural Wisconsin bowling alley, the coming-of-age story focuses on six women struggling to define their own version of success. Erica Weiss-co-creator and -executive producer of the upcoming CBS series The Red Line (airing May 2019) and former Goodman Theatre Michael Maggio Directing Fellow-directs the world premiere production.

On October 25th, Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) and Ma-Yi Theater Company presented an excerpt from Lloyd Suh's new play The Chinese Lady, which begins performances on Theatre Row on November 7 and will play a limited run through November 18, 2018. Cleveland Play House (CPH) brings to life Lynn Nottage's complex story of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Rust Belt drama Sweat. Set in Reading, PA, this relevant story offers audience members suspense through its intricate portrayal of characters battling to survive in a city crippled by economic stagnation. CPH Artistic Director Laura Kepley will direct. Previews begin on October 13th, with press opening on October 19th at the Outcalt Theatre in Playhouse Square. Theatre Presents New Adaptations And World Premieres This Fall

The University of Colorado Boulder theatre division kicks off its fall season with "Great Expectations," a play adapted from the Charles Dickens novel of the same name. The season will also feature the world premiere translation of "Hecuba" from Roe Green Artist Diane Rayor, with mask work by Roe Green Artist Jonathan Becker.
