The Dallas Opera announced today that it will be launching a new, three-event “Welcome Back” Song Series in the Winspear Opera House commencing March 31, 2021.

Amas Musical Theatre will celebrate its 52nd Anniversary with Amas – You Love!: A Heart to Heart Virtual Celebration on Monday, May 10, 2021. Honorary Chair for the event is Grammy Award-winning Latin recording artist and activist Rubén Blades. “One Day at a Time” (Netflix) actress Justina Machado will be Mistress of Ceremonies.

Now based in New York, Doss first released music with the taste-making Montreal label Acephalé (SALEM, Memory Tapes/Memory Cassette, Korallreven, Elite Gymnastics), on an EP Pitchfork called “an exploration of the pure joy of sensation.”

Little Theatre of Virginia Beach makes Women's History Month more personal, by giving 12 local women the chance to tell their stories through the musicals and plays that impacted their lives, in Their Own Words: A Women's Cabaret. For these women, what they saw on stage was not just a story told with lights, sets, and costumes-- it was real. All it took was just one show to change the trajectory of their lives.

Lyric Opera of Chicago has announced additional programs to add to the variety of offerings in its reimagined 2020/21 Season. These include a concert honoring Sir Andrew Davis; a new approach to the annual Rising Stars in Concert by The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center Ensemble and more.

Everyone in the elegant room had reserved well in advance.
