Those original cast recordings and so many others were produced by the 12 time Grammy Award winning producer who revolutionized how a cast album gets produced, Thomas Z. Shepard. A protege of the great Goddard Lieberson, Thomas walked into Columbia's studios in 1960 and helped bring so many of our favorite original cast recordings to life.

The wonderful Ilana Levine of the uplifting podcast Little Known Facts, drops by Shetler Studios to discuss her show, the inspiration behind the podcast, and what it was like learning from Robert Altman, Alan Alda, Cynthia Nixon, John Slattery, Neil Simon, Kristin Chenoweth, and countless others.

Eddie Korbich (The Drowsy Chaperone), Jim Walton (And the World Goes Round), Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), and John Epperson (Lypskina) have joined members of the original Broadway production of John Kander, Fred Ebb, Rupert Holmes, and Peter Stone's CURTAINS, which opened on Broadway in 2007, for a concert presentation of the musical at Feinstein's/54 Below on Thursday, January 25th, 2018, at 7:00pm & 9:30pm.

While 2017 was filled with so many theatrical highs (Ben Platt, THE BAND'S VISIT, SPONGEBOB, Bette Midler, etc), it was also a time to say good bye to some of the industry's most beloved artists whose work made the theatre, and our world, a better place. UP IN THE CHEAP SEATS WITH RON FASSLER is a priceless evening of songs and stories with Ron Fassler telling his own personal tales of Broadway from his book Up In The Cheap Seats, a chronicle of the time when he saw more than 200 Broadway shows as a teenager, all for as little as $2.

In one of the most versatile careers on record, Richard Jay-Alexander has pretty much done it all. Starting first as a PA on Broadway, then moving his way up to stage manager, it was his collaboration with uber-producer Cameron Mackintosh where Richard really thrived, becoming the Associate Director and Executive Producer of a new show called LES MISERABLES.

Members of the original Broadway production of John Kander, Fred Ebb, Rupert Holmes, and Peter Stone's CURTAINS, which opened on Broadway in 2007, will reunite for a concert presentation of the musical at Feinstein's/54 Below on Thursday, January 25th, 2018, at 7:00pm & 9:30pm.

One of Broadway's greatest voices swings by Shetler Studios to discuss some of the shows Laurence has appeared, including BAKER STREET, MAN OF LAMANCHA, ANYA, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, LOVE MATCH, OKLAHOMA, and countless others.

54 Below presented '54 BELOW SINGS KANDER AND EBB'S WOMAN OF THE YEAR' on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017. This performance featured an all star cast with nine ladies singing the songs of TESS (Lauren Bacall on Broadway), four men singing for SAM, and all the other roles covered by the rest of the cast. The performers were: Klea Blackhurst, Todd Buonopane, Mary Callahan, Robert Cuccioli, Joyce DeWitt, Natalie Douglas, John Epperson, Anita Gillette, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Dee Hoty, Christine Toy Johnson, Luba Mason, Julia Murney, Brad Oscar, Christine Pedi, Eve Plumb, Robbie Rozelle, and Kevin Zak. The musical director was Joshua Zecher-Ross, with Corey Schuyler on the bass, Chris Schultz on the drums and Dan Glaude on the reed.

John Kander and Fred Ebb's 1981 Tony nominated musical Woman of the Year will come back to New York City for a one-night-only concert at Feinstein's/54 Below tonight, November 29th, 2017, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm, with a portion of the proceeds going to The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative.
