Orlando Repertory Theatre will join in partnership with TheaterWorksUSA bringing three productions to Orlando REP stages during 2022-2023.  After a successful presentation of TheaterWorksUSA's The Pout-Pout Fish earlier this year, a full season partnership brings Dog Man: The Musical, Click, Clack, Moo, and The Lightning Thief: Theater for Young Audiences Edition to Orlando family audiences. On April 25, 2022, The New York Pops celebrated their 39th Birthday with their yearly gala (the first since 2019), honoring Broadway legends Kristen and Bobby Lopez in: 'For The First Time In Forever: The Songs Of Kristen And Bobby Lopez!' The EGOT winning duo is known for their works on Broadway for the long-running smash hit 'The Book of Mormon' and modern Disney classics such as 'Frozen.' They recently won an Emmy for their song 'Agatha All Along' from Marvel Studios' 'Wandavison.'

The Book of Mormon comes from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez. It's currently playing at London's Prince of Wales Theatre in the West End - and you can book tickets now with no booking fee!

Producers Brian Anthony Moreland, Sonia Friedman and Tom Kirdahy announced additional cast for the revival of August Wilson’s seminal, Pulitzer Prize-winning drama The Piano Lesson, the first Broadway revival in more than 30 years since the play’s Main Stem premiere in 1990.

The event will honor Bonnie Comley & Stewart F. Lane (Tony Award-Winning Founders of BroadwayHD), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Tony Award-Nominated Actor) & Tom Costanzo, and Schele Williams (Director, Author) for their commitment to expanding access to the arts and for ensuring that young people see their stories represented.

From the producer of The Lion King and Aladdin, Frozen, the Tony-nominated Best Musical, will play an exclusive two-week premiere engagement at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center beginning Tuesday, May 17, 2022, with performances playing through Sunday, May 29, 2022. Opening night is set for Wednesday, May 18 at 7:30pm.

Original Broadway cast member Lauren Nicole Chapman will join the Frozen North American tour as “Anna.” Chapman begins performances on Thursday, May 19 at The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, WI.

For Thursday evening’s performance of Frozen the Musical the crowd was buzzing, little girls and women of all ages appeared in Elsa and Anna dresses, and some were carrying Olafs by their side in anticipation of a magical trip to the fictional Arendelle. Like many of us immersed in pop culture and especially here in the Sunshine State where Disney makes Central Florida a primary vacation destination, the magic of Frozen has appeared in our lives in some form or fashion over the course of the last 8-9 years. Since its release in November of 2013, the Disney film Frozen has captivated audiences and families of all ages. From its hit musical numbers to the lovable characters Disney once again created something for everyone. In 2019 Disney released a sequel to the behemoth film and added yet another magical adventure to Arendelle with the release of Frozen 2. Led by an all-star cast of Broadway Legends from Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff to film actress Kristen Bell, Frozen and Frozen 2 warmed even the coldest of hearts and the world of Disney animation has never been the same since, and for that, we are forever thankful.
