Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN Comes to Broadway in February 2020

The critically acclaimed Royal Court Theatre/Atlantic Theater Company production of Academy Award winner, Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Martin McDonagh's new comedy Hangmen will begin performances on Friday, February 28, 2020, and officially open on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) for a strictly limited twenty-week engagement through Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Gijs Naber Will Star In David Bowie's LAZARUS

Gijs Naber will play the leading part in Lazarus, the David Bowie musical. Naber plays the role of Thomas Newton. Ivo van Hove, who created the show together with Bowie and Enda Walsh in New York, will also direct the Dutch production.

Hugh Jackman Tours to MGM Grand in Vegas

Today, Academy Award®-nominated, Golden Globe- and Tony Award-winning performer, Hugh Jackman, announced his first world tour.  The Man. The Music. The Show. will see Jackman performing hit songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Miserable and more from Broadway and film, accompanied by a live orchestra.  The Man. The Music. The Show. will visit the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Saturday, July 13, 2019.  The tour is produced by AEG Presents, TED-Dainty, and Robert Fox.

Murray Head Withdraws from West End CHESS; Cedric Neal Joins Cast as 'The Arbiter'

Chess is coming back to the West End for the first time since 1986, opening at the London Coliseum on Thursday 26 April 2018 (Press night on Tuesday 1 May 2018) for a strictly limited 5 week season. The show will come without one of its previously announced cast members, however. BroadwayWorld has just learned that Murray Head has withdrawn from the production. A show representative explained:

LAZARUS Original Cast Album Released Today

As the November 8 UK opening of LAZARUS at London's King Cross Theatre approaches, the cast and band of the original New York production release their versions of the David Bowie songs from the show as the Lazarus Cast Album today, October 21, on ISO / Columbia Records.
